If you are having a Dental Emergency....

1.  At any time you may call the office at 212-523-8030.

2.  During times the office is closed, your call to the dental office will be routed to a 24 hour answering service that will take a message to be forwarded to Dr. Birnbaum and staff (In the event your call does not automatically route to the answering service, you may reach them directly at 866-260-5240).  Dr. Birnbaum will return your call as soon as possible.

3.  You may also reach Dr. Birnbaum by the following means:

• Sending a text message or calling his cell phone (the number is imprinted on the office business card and is not published on the website)

4.  In the event Dr. Birnbaum is unavailable for an extended period and you are in need of immediate assistance, you may contact the following general dentists in the vicinity of the office:

        It is suggested that you contact your dental insurance to ensure you will have coverage if you choose to be seen at another office.

        There is also a dental service at Roosevelt Hospital (1000 Tenth Avenue) for nights and weekends.  Services are limited to emergencies only.

5.    If you are having a medical emergency, please go to a local emergency room or call 911 if you need assistance.
